Meta Starts Firing: Employees Looting Free Snacks, Drinks?

It is a common practice for global companies to provide their employees with the best possible amenities, including free snacks, and drinks at the places of work. But these commodities are to be consumed in moderation, and there is a social etiquette to be followed.

However, this was not applicable in the case of social media giant Meta, which has fired several thousands of employees over the last few months.

According to a confession made by a former employee who had witnessed multiple rounds of firing operations at this mega social media company is shockingly surprising.

According to this confession, several employees who were associated with Meta, which owns and operates Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, rushed to grab free snacks and drinks out of panic.

Apparently, these former employees were panicking about losing their jobs, and they wanted to get back a cut at the company, and that is the reason why they rushed after free snacks and drinks.

The company inventory was literally wiped away as employees grabbed every single free snack and drink that they could grab. Several of them were fearing layoffs and that’s why they ran after free items in the inventory and storage section.

It is shocking to see some of the well paid employees at a mega global company, run after free snacks and drinks during layoffs. But perhaps, in their version, they were getting back at the company that was firing them from their positions.
