Many of the stars and super stars we have today acted in a small or guest roles in films we have seen already, but mostly their presence went unnoticed. Let us look back at some of the actors’ presence in the popular films we already have seen and how they looked then.
Raashi Khanna
Raashi Khanna played a small cameo in the movie Manam with Naga Chaitanya. She was noticed for a mere few minutes as Chaitanya’s love interest for a brief while. The actress’s success in the industry was big enough that she became the lead actress of Naga Chaitanya’s movie, Venky Mama. She is the lead actress for movies like Prathi roju pandage, World Famous Lover amongst others. Raashi Khanna is busy with four films for release next year, Aranmanai 3, Methavi, Thghlaq Durbar and Shaitan Ka Bachcha.
Ritu Varma
Before starring in the movie Pelli Chupulu as the lead actress, Ritu Varma played the role of Kajal Agarwal’s cousin in the movie Baadshah. The movie was more or less an introduction of the actress into the industry. Ritu Varma later acted in Yevade Subramanyam, Keshava, Prema Ishq Kaadhal amongst others. Ritu Varma scored a big success with Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal and she recently appeared in anthology Putham Pudhu Kaalai. Rithu Varma has got five films in making, Dhruva Natchathiram, Tuck Jagadish, Sharwanand movie, Ninnila Ninnila and Naga Shaurya’s Varudu Kaavalenu.
Siddharth
Actor Siddharth is well known for his bilingual performances. He has worked in some blockbuster movies like Bommarillu, Boys, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana and Rang de Basanti. However, the actor had his own struggles while marking his entrance to the industry. Siddharth made his cameo in the Madhavan’s movie, “Amrutha ”, where he is seen standing behind the actor in a moving bus.
Siddharth was last seen in Vadaladu and he is coming back to Telugu movies with Maha Samudram. Other than that, Siddharth has three films in making, Takkar, Indian 2 and Navarasa.
Satyadev Kancharana
Before playing important roles in movies like Sarileru Nekkevaru, Ghazi Attack, and many others Satyadev Kancharana was a side actor in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Atharintiki Daredi. In Seethamma Vaitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Satyadev went unnoticed as he stood beside Mahesh Babu as one of his friends. Later Satyadev went on to be the lead actor in movies like Bluff Master and Brochevaruevarura.
Satya Dev impressed us with his performances in web series Locked, Uma Maheswara Ugraroopsya recently. His Timmarsu trailer is garnering good views.
Anasuya
Anasuya is a very popular TV presenter and is moving ahead to bag big offers. She recently signed a Tamil movie, which is heard to be Vijay Sethupathi starrer. But before becoming famous, Anasuya appeared in a blink and miss role in NTR’s Naaga, back in 2003. She was seen as a law student and also made a special appearance in the song ‘Dhool’. She gained huge fame with her roles in Kshanam and Rangasthalam.
Adivi Sesh
Adivi Sesh acted in the movie Sontham as a prospective groom. He wasn’t even properly noticed in the movie. The actor was just 16 years old when he was a part of Sontham. He later went to the USA and to complete his education and then made his debut as actor and writer with the movie, Karma. The actor has since then worked in many movies as the actor and writer.
Adivi Sesh is busy with Major movie now and he will be moving to making his Goodachari sequel after that.
Speaking of Sontham, another popular actor Neha pendse also acted in the movie as Rohit’s love interest.
Kajal Agarwal
Kajal Agarwal made her debut as Aishwarya Rai’s sister in the movie Kyun Hogaya Na. The actress also danced alongside Aishwarya in the movie for the song, Uljhane. Later, she started off her Tollywood career with the movie, Chandamama. She has since then acted in many movies in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil and is the most sought after actress in the Telugu industry.
Kajal recently got married to Businessman Gautam Kitchlu. On film front, Kajal will be seen in Chiranjeevi’s Acharya, Hey Sinamika, Mumbai Saga, Indian 2 and Mosagallu.
Allu Arjun
Allu Arjun made his star debut with the movie, Gangotri. Earlier to this he played a small but important role in the movie Daddy. He was an aspiring dancer in the movie. Playing this role in Daddy, showed the industry what a great addition he would be to the entertainment industry. Allu Arjun later went on a roll and gave many hits to the industry.
Allu Arjun is busy with his Pushpa in Sukumar’s direction.
Trisha
Before becoming the heart-throb of Telugu and Tamil industry, Trisha made her debut as a side actress in the movie Jodi. She was a friend of the heroine, played by Simran. There’s no doubt in saying that Trisha managed to prove her mettle in the industry.
Trisha is back to being busy in films after 96′ super success in 2018. She is now very busy with more than six films in hand. Trisha will be seen in Ponniyin Selvan, Ram, Sugar, Raangi, Sathuranga Vettai 2, Garjanai and Paramapadham Vilayattu.
Raghava Lawrence
Prior to becoming an esteemed choreographer, Lawrence was just an extra dancer on the sets of Chiranjeevi’s Mutha Mestiri. He managed to bring in a new additional step into a song, impressing Megastar Chiranjeevi. Since then, Chiranjeevi has always included Lawrence in all his movies as the choreographer. No doubt, Raghava Lawrence is such a hardcore fan of the star.
Vijay Devarakonda
Prior to the Blockbuster release of Arjun Reddy and Pellichupulu, Vijay Devarakonda had significantly small roles in movies like Life is beautiful and Nuvvila. In Life is Beautiful, Vijay Devarakonda was a part of the Gold Phase and acted in just a handful of scenes in the movie.
His struggle to enter the industry is evident with all the small opportunities he took up as they came his way. Along with Vijay Devarakonda, we can also see the very talented Naveen Polishetty in a good number of scenes as a spoiled brat, before he became Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya. Life Is Beautiful also has Sree Vishnu in a small role.
