Vietnam Boat Tragedy: 15 Indian Tourists Dead?

A tragic boat accident in Vietnam has reportedly claimed the lives of more than 15 people, with several victims believed to be from the Telugu states and Tamilnadu.

According to initial reports, around 250 distributors of a leading mobile phone company were on an incentive tour when the tourist boat met with an accident. The group reportedly included many members from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamilnadu.

Local authorities launched rescue operations immediately after the incident. While many tourists were rescued, several others lost their lives, and the exact number of casualties is still being verified.

Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy in Vietnam said a tourist boat carrying several Indian nationals capsized near Phu Quoc Island a few hours ago. The embassy stated that local authorities are continuing search and rescue operations while efforts are underway to ascertain the exact details of the incident.
