Sachin: “Failure Is Okay, Cheating Is Not”

As the NEET protests continue across the country, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar shared a heartfelt message highlighting the importance of honesty, hard work and fairness. Without mentioning any individual or political issue, Sachin’s words have struck a chord with students and parents.

Sharing a lesson he learned from his father, Sachin said that failure is a part of life, but choosing unfair methods is never acceptable. He said success should always come through hard work and dedication, not shortcuts.

Sachin pointed out that society plays a major role in shaping the future of young people. According to him, when people start valuing results more than effort, it encourages unhealthy competition and weakens the importance of merit. He said students must feel confident that their genuine efforts will always be respected.

He also acknowledged that many students are feeling disappointed and frustrated in the current situation. Instead of ignoring their concerns, he said everyone, including parents, teachers, schools and authorities, should work together to rebuild their confidence and create a fair learning environment.

Calling India’s youth the country’s greatest strength, Sachin said their dreams and ambitions should be protected. He urged society to promote a culture where honesty is rewarded, merit is respected and hard work is recognised. He expressed hope that with the right values and collective effort, the country can create a better future for the next generation.
