A collection of letters that were personally written by legendary Mahatma Gandhi were sold for a massive price in the open auction that was held recently.

A collection of 688 autographed works by Mahatma Gandhi on truth, ahimsa, and service among other subjects to his close associate and freedom fighter Anand T Hingorani was sold for Rs 16.20 crore at a Saffronart auction.

This historic development has now set
the world record for an Indian historical document sold at an auction.
