Madhapur: Ready-to-Occupy 7-Storey Building Collapses, 1 Dead

A seven storey building collapsed in Madhapur’s Anjaiah Nagar on Saturday, leaving one person dead and triggering a major rescue operation.

According to reports, the building had recently been completed and was reportedly being prepared to be given out on rent. The structure suddenly collapsed, with a large portion of the debris falling onto a nearby apartment building.

The impact also left two people injured. The sudden collapse caused panic in the surrounding area, with people from a nearby hostel rushing outside after hearing the loud noise.

Rescue teams immediately reached the spot and began removing the debris. There were concerns that more people could be trapped under the collapsed structure.

During the rescue operation, personnel recovered the body of one person from underneath the debris. Teams continued searching the area and clearing the rubble to check if anyone else was trapped.
