After Food, Fake Doctors Now Under The Radar In Hyderabad!

Hyderabad had been witnessing a rampant corrective drive with regard to hotels and eateries. The authorities had been cracking down establishments with poor hygiene and adulterated food products.

Now there is something significant happening as Hyderabad Police have arrested 11 fake doctors whose medical operations in Hyderabad using fake degree documents.

The accused were allegedly practising medicine using fake degree certificates and fake doctor certificates. The shocking thing is that a few of them are operating out of the Jubilee Hills area, which is one of the richest pockets in the city.

Hyderabad police seized doctor prescriptions, rubber stamps bearing doctors’ names, fake medical certificates, thousands of medicines, glucose bottles and other medical equipments from their possession.

The accused were reportedly treating around 50 to 100 patients every day and charging between ₹50 and ₹200 from each patient.

6 Fake Doctors arrested in Secunderabad Zone and 5 Fake Doctors arrested in Jubilee Hills Zone. 11 Cases have been registered against the accused at various police stations.

Two cases were registered at Mudarangar, while one case each was registered at Jubilee Hills, Filmnagar, Borabanda, Ramgopalpet and Domalguda. Two cases each were registered at Chilkalguda and in the Old City.

While the population had already been struggling with adult food items and unhygienic food spots, this news about fake doctors is causing further panic.
