Techies Getting New Road At Hyderabad’s Busiest Route?

Hyderabad might be one of the best performing cities when it comes to IT infrastructure and employment opportunities. But the traffic condition has been deteriorating consistently over the last few years.

This is largely due to the increased population and inadequate roadway facilities to accommodate the same.

However, the latest developments concerning the Hyderabad traffic police department are very promising. It should be a matter of time before the software engineers get a dedicated road, which could be an alternative to the stretch between JNTU to Raidurgam.

The traffic police team examined traffic movement along this important corridor, which witnesses heavy vehicular movement during weekday peak hours, particularly from Monday to Friday.

The proposed dedicated carriageway is aimed at facilitating smoother and safer movement of IT employees, while also improving overall traffic management and reducing congestion along the corridor.

The team reviewed the existing U-Turns and Free Left arrangements at Raidurgam and Gachibowli to identify measures for smoother, safer and more efficient traffic movement.

During the review, particular attention was given to public transport priority and the optimisation of U-Turns, junctions and traffic movements to minimise delays and improve the overall flow of traffic.

If this dedicated new road is formed at the earliest, then it could be a significant could use to the software employees as they could reach the destinations in a much quicker time. But it would always come down to the actual execution of this project.
