Wanted To Gift IPhone To GF By Selling Ganja, Got Caught By Hyd Police

The kind of abnormal activities that certain people do in the name of love is simply beyond comprehension and here we have the story of an individual who got caught by Hyderabad police in one such attempt.

Incidentally, a 21-year-old man allegedly travelled to Odisha to procure 12 kg of ganja and headed to Hyderabad to sell it. His plan was to use the money to buy an iPhone for his girlfriend.

The accused, Mitra Chaitanya, 21, and Hemalatha, 20, both from Peddapalli of Telangana were arrested by the EAGLE Force and while allegedly transporting the ganja from Odisha towards Hyderabad.

Police said the duo travelled to Pasupulanka in Odisha and stayed there for around five days before allegedly buying 12 kg of ganja for ₹16,000 from a supplier identified as Bhagavan Hantal.

When police tried to stop them near Wyra Ring Centre, they allegedly attempted to escape and rammed their motorcycle into police personnel and a police vehicle. A Sub-Inspector was injured, while both accused also suffered injuries after falling from the bike.

Subsequently, this desperate attempt from this individual to gift an iPhone to his girlfriend by selling Ganja has come back to haunt him, and he will have to face the consequences now.
