Meet The New Miss World 2026

The Dominican Republic’s Joheirry Mola has been crowned Miss World 2026. She won the title at the grand finale held in Nha Trang, Vietnam, on Saturday.

Joheirry Mola emerged as the winner after competing against contestants from 110 countries. She succeeds Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri, who held the Miss World crown until this year.

Spain’s Elisabeth Reynes was named the first runner up, while Malaysia’s Taanusiya Chetty finished as the second runner up.

Mola is not just a beauty pageant contestant. She is also a teacher, news correspondent, model and social worker.

She holds a degree in Business Management and Administration. She also founded Voices of Tomorrow, an initiative focused on providing English education to children and youngsters from vulnerable communities.

Mola had already made her mark during the Miss World journey. She secured a place in the Top 40 through the Top Model Challenge before eventually reaching the final stage.

Meanwhile, India’s Nikita Porwal made it to the Top 40 but could not enter the Top 20. With Mola’s victory, the Dominican Republic has now added another Miss World crown to its history.
