Telugu YouTuber Arrested In Hyd After Return From UK

Popular Telugu YouTuber Rama Nandana, who is well known for her channel Nandu’s World with over 2.5 million subscribers, has reportedly been detained at Shamshabad Airport in Hyderabad after she landed from the UK. Based on the lookout notice issued few months ago over cheating allegations, she will now be handed over to AP police for further investigation.

Going into the details, Nandana and her husband Madhukar have been accused of defrauded several individuals on the pretext of providing job opportunities in the UK. It is alleged that the couple collected amounts ranging from 15 to 20 lakhs from each victim and later refused to fulfil the promise. The Visa consultancy scam went viral for several weeks on social media and TV channels after many victims came out with bank statements.

In June this year, an explosive social media campaign targeting the couple unearthed this controversy. However, the couple remained silent for many days and later issued a statement stating that strict action will be taken against those who spread misinformation on them. They also gave evasive reply on the issue and this has further strengthened the case.

With many complaints and subsequent police cases registered in Krishna district, look out circulars were issued to stop from escaping investigation. She will now be handed over to Ibrahminpatnam police for further questioning on the allegations.

It may be noted that she grabbed the spotlight after sharing screen space with Megastar Chiranjeevi in Mana Shankar Varaprasad film.
