Apple has launched the new edition of iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max variants last night, September 9. The early reactions for the newly launched iPhone has started to come out on social media and here’s a brief look into the same.

Social media users who have gotten a glimpse of the iPhone 18 version or commenting that this new line of iPhone is visually similar to the earlier iPhone 17 version.

In terms of front and back appearance, the iPhone 18 pro max is extremely identical to the previous iPhone 17 Pro Max version. It is just that a new burgundy colour has been added to the line and this is distinctive to earlier orange version that was released for iPhone 17 Pro Max.

In terms of software, significant addition has been made to the artificial intelligence aspect of the new iPhone.

Apple has introduced a new and advanced version of its AI-powered Siri, showcasing how it can recall content from past messages as well as explore real-world content and take action across apps.

One impressive thing that Apple has added is the Apple preference image feature which is very much needed in this AI era.

Apple’s Reference Image feature allows users to confirm that a photo was genuinely taken with an iPhone camera, rather than being AI-generated.

To do this, the system leverages data from the camera sensor and cryptographic verification, linking the image to a specific moment of capture.

In terms of integrating Artificial intelligence with Siri, Apple has come a significant way ahead. But with the pricing starting at $1199 for iPhone 18 Pro and $1299 for iPhone 18 Pro Max, the pricing is on the heavier side.
