AP Woman’s Shocking Murder Mystery Solved With A Tattoo

More than ten days after the sensational murder of a woman from Vijayawada in AP came to light, police have finally cracked the mystery with the help of a tattoo and arrested a mutton shop owner who committed this chilling crime.

As per reports, body parts of an unidentified woman were found floating in Ibrahimpatnam canal by the local people few days ago. Initial identification of the body was very difficult for investigators as the corpse was severely mutilated.

However, police circulated photos of a special tattoo mark found on the victim hand across local WhatsApp groups and social media channels. Relatives of the victim identified that the body belonged to a woman named Kalyani.

During investigation, technical teams analyzed mobile call records of the deceased which directly pointed to frequent phone calls with mutton shop owner named Shafi.

Upon interrogation, Shafi confessed to killing Kalyani after she repeatedly demanded money and gold items. Reportedly, Kalyani went to Shafi residence on September 17 where a heavy argument broke out regarding financial matters.

During the heated fight, Shafi attacked her with a sharp knife and slit her throat causing instant death on the spot. To hide the murder evidence, the accused chopped her dead body into nine small pieces inside his house.

He then took help from his shop worker Guruvulu to transport the chopped body parts secretly and dumped them in the canal. Ibrahimpatnam circle police officers booked strict criminal cases against both accused under severe murder and evidence destruction charges
