Another Blow! Oracle Starts Voluntary Exit Plan?

Oracle had been one of the safest software companies in the world in terms of stable employment and profitability for the human workforce. But this dynamic is changing quickly after company had already fired more than 30,000 employees in the recent past.

Well, it appears that Oracle is not slowing down in terms of removal of human workforce even after the recent firings. They have now reportedly started a new proposition to let go off more employees.

According to the latest reports from global media, Oracle is now offering voluntary severance packages to leaders across the company.

The offer that is being made by Oracle is six weeks of severance package, plus an additional week for every year of service. This essentially means that the company is offering more than 2 months of paid exit. This is the news that is in circulation on social media now.

This is the latest coming out of Oracle but it is still unconfirmed at an official capacity by the company. But these signs are pointing to another round of layoffs in December as Oracle continues its shift toward becoming a data center company.

The company has been heavily depending on artificial intelligence for operations and this latest series of events, including the mass firing followed by voluntary exit are clearly evident.
