The state of Andhra Pradesh is showing slight progress in containing the Corona virus as less number of cases are being reported in the last couple of days. Yesterday, AP has tested 9,388 samples and out of them, 43 results have arrived as positive of the virus. With this the total Corona cases in AP stand at 1930.
Krishna and Chittoor districts posted double digit Corona cases in the last 24 hours with 16 and 11 respectively. East and West Godavari, Kadapa, Nellore, Prakasham, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts did not report a single case.
The active case count is 999 while 887 people got cured and discharged. Also three people have died in the past 24 hours with two from Krishna district and one from Kurnool. The death tally went up to 44.
