IPL 2021: Foreign Players’ Exit Won’t Affect The Tournament

Indian Premier League has become a trending topic in the country now. The biggest cricket tournament that takes place every year is in progress this year, with a lot of safety measures in place. The BCCI and IPL officials made sure to put the players in bio-bubble. Still, there is a debate going on that the tournament should ban. Three Australian cricketers already left the tournament and more might follow. In the view of the overseas players leaving the tournament, it will only benefit the Indian players.

If the overseas players chose to leave the tournament, it will open up opportunities for the Indian cricket players, both uncapped and first-class players to reveal their talent to the outside world. Because of the rule to include 4 overseas players in the team, the strength of Indian players is restricted to the bench. If they chose to leave the IPL, the under-rated players will get a chance to play.

Almost every team has young players from different parts of the country. Rarely, they get a chance to shine in the IPL. A lot of people are showing concern and expressing worry over the reports of overseas players choosing to leave the tournament but it will only help BCCI to find the actual talent of India.
