It is a fact that the public loves celebrity feuds more than the stars secret affairs because the conflicts have often drawn interest among the masses. And of course, we never fell short of such fights. Among a plethora of star feuds, Amrita Rao and Esha Deol’s infamous beef is once again grabbing headlines as the latter spoke on the issue explicitly.
The hideous turn of physical confrontation happened when Esha Deol slapped Amrita Rao on a film set. Back in 2006, the two actors had worked together for the film called Pyare Mohan. During the time, it was reported that the duo loathed each other and often involved in a catfight off-screen. Amrita has allegedly made a few snide comments on Esha Deol in front of the director, which made Esha flew off the handle. Soon after, Esha slapped Amrita and she still feels there is nothing to feel guilty about.
“Amrita abused me in front of my director, Indra Kumar and my cameraman and I thought that was totally out of line. To protect my self-respect and dignity, I slapped her. I have no regrets because she totally deserved it for her behaviour towards me at that point in time. I just stood up for myself and my dignity,” Esha quoted.
Esha Deol further added that Amrita realized her mistake and came to her to apologize. Esha says she has forgiven Amrita now and everything is cool between them. Surely, the fight is one of the most heated celebrity wars in history which also went to the next level and became physical. But if Twitter existed in those days, it was have ended with a simple Twitter fight or shouting matches on social media.
