Top producer Aswini Dutt’s love for films had a dream of making one NTR’s ‘Jagedekaveeruni Katha’ sort of fantasy movie with megastar Chiranjeevi, and he knows that only his best buddy K Raghavendra Rao could transform his dream into a big real picture on the silver screen.
A spark of thought on Co-director Srinivas Chakravarthy’s mind during his visit to Tirumala with KRR, that an eternal angel loses her powerful ring during her visit to earth and Chiranjeevi finds it and keeps it, was instantly liked by K Raghavendra Rao. Aswini Dutt also liked it very much and everybody in the team had only one thought on who would be perfect to pay the devakanya. The name is Sridevi.
When the combination was set with Chiranjeevi, Sridevi, K Raghavendra, and Aswini Dutt, an army of writers Yendamuri, Jandhyala, Vijayendra Prasad, Crazy Mohan, and Satyamurthy joined to carve it into a flawless story. Chiranjeevi too joined the team for almost a month in story sittings. The Megastar then decided to look little rugged as to look natural and contrast to the eternal beauty, while Sridevi designed her own costumes to match her role.
With many of the efforts from passionate filmmakers, excellent actors, and other coincidences, the film that remained as one of the brightest in the history of the film industry.
