There seems to be no end to the Baahubali juggernaut. Even a decade after the introduction of the epic fictional world Mahismati by filmmaker SS Rajamouli, the emotion behind it continues to resonate with moviegoers across the globe. Also, the makers are keeping everyone immersed in one or the other way.
Recently, Netflix released a special documentary series titled Baahubali: The Torchbearer. Filmed back during the production of the epic original films, this behind-the-scenes deep dive offers fans an emotional, nostalgic journey with the cast.
As fans go gaga over this documentary, a promotional video featuring the core trio of Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, and Anushka Shetty has now grabbed the attention and triggered a huge discussion. This is because trio surprised the audience by dropping a crazy hint “The world is not ready for this announcement… Baahubali is coming for you all!”
In the now viral video, Prabhas is seen holding up three fingers at the very end. For millions of die-hard fans, this seemed like the third installment of Baahubali cannot be completely ruled out. But, it can also be just a tease to build anticipation for the animation spectacle titled Baahubali : The Eternal War, which is likely to hit the screens next year.
Even if S.S. Rajamouli and the producers are indeed planning a proper cinematic installment, taking it on to the floors is going to be very challenging given that all the actors and technicians who worked on the franchise are currently busy with other commitments. Given Rajamouli’s track record of spending 3 to 4 years per film, a slot for Baahubali 3 wouldn’t open up anytime soon.
Keeping aside all these inferences, it is of doubt that Baahubali 3 will create an never-before-seen hysteria if at all it materializes in the future.
