Despite Local Polls, CM CBN Focused On Cyclone Management!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has earned the tag of a crisis manager through years of experience and effective handling of natural disasters. He is putting that experience to good use amid the ongoing situation following the arrival of Cyclone Arnab.

This devastating cyclone made its landfall in the Vizag stretch of the coastal Andhra Pradesh, and it was a very violent passage as well. Mysore winds and extreme rainfall, but registered in this region upon the arrival of the cyclone on land.

However, the government of Andhra Pradesh had been very successful in educating the public about the cyclone and its natural effects. Certain preventive measures were implemented, including the advising of the public not to set out on the road and preparation of safety zones.

All of this has collectively resulted in very little loss of human life so far. There has been significant property damage and agricultural loss, but these are natural consequences of the cyclone, and there is only so much anyone can do to prevent them.

Chief minister, Chandrababu and his administration have been fully focussed on the cyclone situation and helping out the public. This comes at a time when the chief minister already has a different proposition in the form of the ongoing local body polls.

But the CM has reportedly prioritise this natural disaster over the electoral process and is said to be fully committed to the rescue activities after the landfall of the cyclone. He has set his priorities very straight as he is standing with the affected public despite the existing political situation due to the local polls.
