After making her presence felt in Tollywood, Punjabi beauty Payal Rajput is all set to foray into Sandalwood. An official announcement regarding her debut Kannada film ‘Head Bush’ was made a couple of days ago.
In the movie, Payal will be playing the role of Bengaluru’s first-ever underworld don Jayaraj’s girlfriend, who was a dancer. Interestingly, Jayaraj’s girlfriend was Punjabi and Head Bush’s team felt that Payal would be the right choice to reprise her.
Upon knowing that Jayaraj’s girlfriend is still alive and is living with her two sons in Punjab, Payal expressed her wish to meet her in person and the film’s team is chalking out the possibilities. The actress is excited about debuting in the Kannada film industry, which has been a long-cherished dream.
Head Bush is a period biopic set in the mid-70s and 80s. Noted Sandalwood hero Dhananjay will be playing Jayaraj’s role in this high budget action drama and Shoonya will be directing it.
