Konda Polam Is Our First Attempt: Krish

Mega sensation Vaishnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Konda Polam directed by Krish is set for release on 8th of this month. Promotional activities are in full swing for the film. Audio launch was held recently and today grand pre-release event took place in Hyderabad with few special guests gracing it.

Director Harish Shankar appreciated Krish for giving credit to the writer and lauded Vaishnav Tej for his simplicity. Buchi Babu also spoke highly about Krish and made a statement that Vaishnav is the hero for every story being prepared in Film Nagar.

Krish said, “My dream team is there to complete my film in quick time. Though everyone knows that, we have completed the film in 45 days. We worked round the clock. We had come up with proper planning. Few of directors met during corona time and we discussed about books. We concluded to give credit to writers. Konda Polam is our first attempt. Obulamma character was not there in book. The story is about the shepherd who comes back as a forest officer. Vaishnav Tej has great character. I met him at a party. I hugged and kissed Vaishnav Tej on his shoulder. Rakul Preet Singh lived in the character of Obulamma.”

Rakul Preet Singh said, “Obulamma is one character that I’m extremely proud of playing. I came out of my comfort zone for the role. I’m really happy that Krish felt that I can be able to play the role. As everyone said, Vaishnav Tej will become a big star one day. He has the desire to learn new things. Enjoy the magical moments in theatres.”

Vaishnav Tej said, “Uppena was my first chapter, while Konda Polam is my second chapter. I need to tell about the friendship of Krish, Rajeev and Babu. They understand each other very well. Their friendship is just beautiful. Krish is always there like a brother. This character of Kataru Ravindra is one among us. We face many fears. There are lots of untold inspirational stories in the movie. Everyone needs to have that passion to fulfill our dreams.”
