Manchu Vishnu won the post of Movie Artists Association (MAA) president. He delivered a success against Prakash Raj in a much-awaited election in the Telugu states. From the beginning, the MAA Elections caught the attention of many including the politicians. Bandi Sanjay, the President of BJP in Telangana seems to be following the developments of the elections. He conveyed his wishes to Manchu Vishnu and expressed happiness over Vishnu defeating Prakash Raj.
“I convey my greetings to Manchu Vishnu for winning the president of the Movie Artists Association. I also convey my wishes to the winners in both panels. I thank MAA voters for defeating those who are against the best interests of the Nation. I am happy that the voters taught the useless gang a lesson.” he tweeted, adding, “The people of the two Telugu states eagerly waited for the decision of MAA voters. They delivered an inspiring decision. I convey my wishes to everyone.”
Popular actor and advocate CVL Narasimha Rao also wanted to contest for the post of President in the elections. He filed the nomination but later withdrew it. He had the support of the BJP. In a press meet, he mentioned that he does not want Prakash Raj to win.
According to him, Prakash Raj is anti-Hindu and criticized him for several reasons including his ideologies against Narendra Modi and BJP.
