Recently, Mega Power Star Ram Charan started shooting for his upcoming film under the direction of Shankar. The makers have wrapped up a schedule near Pune a few days back. Tentatively called RC 15, this movie seems to be a political thriller.
If the ongoing grapevine is anything to go by, Charan’s role in the movie will be similar to the life of police officer-turned-politician JD Lakshmi Narayana.
For those who are unaware, Lakshmi Narayana is a retired police officer who dealt with many popular cases like Satyam Scandal and the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy case. In 2019, he entered politics and joined Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena.
He had also contested for the MP seat from the Visakhapatnam constituency. However, he lost the elections and later, he also left Jana Sena.
Going by the buzz, it now looks like Charan will play the role of a government servant who enters politics. The plot looks interesting and it has to be seen how Shankar portrays it on the screen.
RC 15 features Kiara Advani as the female lead. Srikanth, Anjali and Sunil are playing the other key roles in it. Dil Raju is bankrolling the project.
