Naga Shaurya’s Lakshya which marks first Indian film on archery is all set for theatrical release on 10th of this month. Today, hero Venkatesh has launched theatrical trailer of the movie and conveyed his wishes to the team.
Archery is not a crazy sport in India and this is conveyed through a sequence of discussion between Ketika Sharma and her parents. The video actually begins elaborating the game of archery and how points are given to the players. Besides the game, the trailer also shows Shaurya-Ketika’s love story and betrayal by his best buddy.
There are two phases in Shaurya’s sports career and he makes re-entry after some gap and rises like a phoenix from the ashes. His makeover is simply amazing, wherein he steals the show with his impeccable performance. Ketika Sharma is cool as his girlfriend, wherein the trailer also shows other prominent cast including Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar and Ravi Prakash.
Director Santhosh Jagarlapudi wins brownie points for his writing and direction. Kaala Bhairava’s background score sets right mood, wherein visuals look neat, thanks to Raam’s camera work.
The trailer sets bar high for the film which is already carrying enough buzz. Lakshya, produced on grand scale by Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Northstar Entertainment Pvt Ltd, is the most expensive film of the actor so far.
