For the past four years or so, Vijay Deverakonda has been donning his Santa Claus cap and once again, he turned DeveraSanta to celebrate Christmas in a unique manner. He shared a video to cheer up his fans with a distinctive concept of giving away a whopping one million from his own pocket.
He took to his Twitter and mentioned: “#DeveraSanta21 Sharing my journey and some money I made with my community. 1 MILLION give away. You be Santa and gift someone 10,000/- Tell me why and who should get the money. 100 names will be announced on Jan 1st.” The actor decides to give Rs 10K each to 100 individuals on 1st January.
He asked netizens to choose those who are in actual need of financial support and also mention the reason for the same. He said that he would be choosing the 100 best members and give away Rs 10,000 each to 100 individuals, whom he believes are in need of monetary help. It is indeed profound and appreciable to see the young actor reaching people in his own ways.
Last year in 2020, Vijay rebranded as DeveraSanta and helped several underprivileged children. In 2017, he also distributed the items in JNTU Hyderabad as a token of gratitude for making a large-sized portrait of Arjun Reddy. And he also surprised nearly 600 orphans the next year.
