As mentioned in the film’s song, Bad Luck has been following Good Luck Sakhi in real life too. This Keerthy Suresh-starrer sports drama is in production for more than three years. Since the pandemic, makers have tried hard to release the film in theatres but it got postponed several times due to multiple reasons. Finally, it is all set to hit the screens this Friday, i.e, January 28.
As the release date is just a few days away, the makers are promoting the film hurriedly. The trailer was released just a couple of days ago and it didn’t create a huge buzz.
To generate big attention, the makers decided to invite Megastar Chiranjeevi for the pre-release event, which is scheduled to be held today. Last night, it was officially announced that Chiru will be the chief guest of the event.
But this morning, the actor announced that he has been tested positive for the COVID-19. Thus, he will not be attending the event and that will be a huge blow for the makers.
We have to see if the film crosses this bad luck at least in the theatres once it gets released. Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, Good Luck Sakhi features Aadi Pinishetty and Jagapathi Babu in the other lead roles.
