Karthik Subbaraj has sparked fresh discussion on social media with his latest comments about Game Changer. In an interview, the filmmaker revealed that he wrote only the story of the Ram Charan-starrer, while Shankar approached him to write the screenplay as well.

However, Karthik could not take up the responsibility as he was busy working on Mahan. He also explained that his original story had similarities to the Hindi film Newton. Interestingly, Karthik said that when he watched Game Changer, he felt that everything had changed from what he had initially written.

He says these changes happened because the film featured a big star like Ram Charan. His comments have now triggered discussions about how the original story might have turned out if it had been presented differently.

Many movie lovers feel that Karthik Subbaraj himself should have directed Game Changer. Karthik is known for handling crime dramas with a distinct style. Fans believe his directorial treatment could have made the story more engaging.

Of course, it is impossible to know whether his version would have worked better at the box office. Had Karthik directed the film and retained his vision, Game Changer might have been a very different cinematic experience, say most of them on social media.
