#LataMangeshkar: South Celebs Pay Tribute To The Legend

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away today morning, February 6, 2022. She breathed her last at 8:12 AM at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. Not only Bollywood stars, but even a lot of South celebs have paid their tribute to the Nightingale of India.

Megastar Chiru is heartbroken with the news and he tweeted “Lata Didi is no more. The vacuum due to this colossal loss can never be filled”.

Superstar Mahesh Babu tweeted, “Deeply saddened by Lata Mangeshkar ji’s demise. A voice that defined Indian music for generations… Her legacy is truly unparalleled. Heartfelt condolences to the family, loved ones and all her admirers. Rest in peace Lata ji. There will never be another.” 

Kajal Aggarwal shared on her Instagram stories that India has lost its nightingale but her legacy will live on forever. Also, Rajamouli tweeted that Lata’s demise is an irreplaceable loss to the nation, “Lata Ji’s passing away is a huge and irreplaceable loss. She will live on in our hearts forever. My heartfelt tribute to the nightingale of India. May her soul rest in peace. Wishing the family strength and comfort in these difficult times,” he wrote.

Tamannaah wrote on her social media handle that India has truly lost a legend today and Raashi Khanna thanked the singer for her extraordinary music and countless memories. As per government sources, two-day national mourning is to be observed in memory of Lata Mangeshkar. The National flag to fly at half-mast for two days, as a mark of respect.
