No Stopping For Rohit Sharma, The Captain!

There is no stopping for Rohit Sharma after becoming a full-time captain for India. Within a span of fewer than two months, Rohit has set up some unique records under his captaincy. With his impeccable leadership skills, Rohit is proving why he is considered one of the best skippers in white-ball cricket.

After being made the captain in the white-ball formats, Rohit led India in three series. One T20I series against New Zealand, one T20I, and one ODI series against West Indies. India managed to win all these series by 3-0.

Now, Rohit has nine consecutive wins after being made the full-time captain of Team India. That is definitely a good start for him. Meanwhile, with the win against West Indies last night, India became the no.1 T20I side in the world.

Team India now has 10,484 points and a rating of 269. England is in the second position with a rating of 269 and 10474 points.

India got back to the no.1 rank in the T20Is after a gap of six years. The last time we were the no.1 T20I side was from February 12, 2016, to May 3, 2016, under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

The real test for Rohit’s captaincy comes in the overseas series and Indian fans are hoping for him to continue the same form in the away matches as well.
