Buzz: Puri Jagan Trying To Match Rajamouli Range

Sharing his thoughts about Jana Gana Mana other day, director Puri Jagan has given various insights and plans, but he hasn’t revealed one major thing. And we hear that the dashing director is actually trying to match the range of Rajamouli with his project. No, not in terms of budget or box office revenues, but it’s about this.

Apparently Rajamouli’s latest films including RRR and Baahubali have stood as a benchmark for the quality of visual effects they would offer to the Indian audience. Previously we have visual effects in films like Robo and Thugs of Hindostan, but some of them actually looked like computer-generated imagery only without a touch of realistic look.

However, RRR has those brilliant portions like Charan’s intro, NTR’s fight with Tiger where we don’t even recognize what’s real and what’s visual effects. Now, Puri Jagan wants to bring this.

With the film JGM being a military backdrop film and it is literally impossible to land military vehicles like tankers, bombers and others in this city even the duplicate models for a shoot, most of these things will be created by visual effects teams only. As the film is backed by financially sound investors, they are saying that most of the VFX work will be done in Canada and Singapore, and the quality will be ultra-realistic.

Well, if Puri Jagan could do that, then there will two Telugu directors on India’s map who have really pioneered VFX stuff to narrate their stories to the world.
