Nag Ashwin’s request to Minister for Railways

Nag Ashwin is one of the world-class filmmakers we have in Tollywood currently. After Yevade Subrahmanyam, he mesmerized the audience with a heart-touching tale ‘Mahanati’. The young filmmaker is currently intrigued in the making of ‘ProjectK’ with Prabhas. Nag Ashwin is very active on social media and never hesitates to bring his opinion on various issues happening across the country. Now, he has shared an honest opinion on the architectural design of the world-class railway station which is to be set up in Tirupathi.

Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Minister for Railways shared the architectural designs of the yet-to-be-set-up railway station in Tirupathi and it received a backlash. Many netizens disliked the designs.

Adding a voice to all those, Ashwin too requested the minister to get someone on board who understands the rich architecture of India.

“Dear sir…as u might have seen in the comments…nobody likes this…The design looks like some generic western copy, some bad IT park… tirupati is sacred, spiritual…lets get ppl to design it who understand the rich architecture of India..and not this glass n steel copies,” Nag Ashwin wrote to the minister on Twitter.

We have to see if the Railway minister and the officials consider this suggestion from the young filmmaker.
