Superstar Rajinikanth has teamed up with director Nelson for his next project. Tentatively called #Thalaivar169, this movie was announced a couple of months ago. Now, the makers have officially announced the title of this flick.
Thalaivar 169 has now been officially titled, Jailer. Announcing the same, the film’s production house Sun Pictures tweeted, “#Thalaivar169 is #Jailer. @rajinikanth @Nelsondilpkumar @anirudhofficial.”
Along with the title, a pre-look poster has also been unveiled. In the poster, we can see a blood-soaked machete in the foreground.
Going by the pre-look, the film seems to be an action entertainer. But Nelson is known for making dark comedies. So, we have to see what he has in store for us this time.
According to the reports, Jailer features Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Ramya Krishna, Shivarajkumar, and KS Ravi Kumar in the other pivotal roles.
Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for this film. It will hit the floors very soon. More details will be announced in the coming days.
