Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha is gearing up for a nationwide grand release on August 11th. Already, a lot of people want to boycott the film. #BoycottLalSinghChaddha is trending on social media for the alleged anti-National comments made by Aamir Khan in the past. BJP leader Vijayashanthi has now taken potshots at the film.
Taking to her Twitter, Vijayashanthi shared some hot comments about the film. Criticizing Aamir Khan heavily, Vijayashanthi said that Aamir Khan is currently witnessing the result of his anti-National comments in 2015.
Vijayashanthi also referred to Aamir’s PK, where the film became controversial when some Hindu groups alleged that the movie hurt their religious sentiments.
In this context, Vijayashanthi indirectly responded to Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is presenting Lal Singh Chaddha to the Telugu audiences.
“The people of our country are very well aware of the reality and decided to Boycott the film. Unfortunately, some South heroes act as if they are unaware of the people’s sentiments by promoting Lal Singh Chaddha in TV shows. It’s time that they introspect themselves,” she revealed.
Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna are together promoting the film in the Telugu market, and it is an open secret that Vijayashanthi is referring to them.
We have to see if either of Chiranjeevi or Nagarjuna reacts to this.
