Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur starrer classical romantic entertainer Sita Ramam is running successfully in theatres. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi under Swapna Cinema, the movie is unstoppable at box office. The film’s Thank You Meet was attended by King Nagarjuna.
Nagarjuna, while speaking on the occasion, said, “I first have to thank Dutt garu for inviting me here. I like Swapna and Priyanka more than him. I know them since they are kids. They are the pillar of support for Dutt and Vyjayanthi. Mahanati, Jathi Ratnalu and now Sita Ramam are true blockbusters. Vyjayanthi is one of the top most banners for Telugu film industry. After watching the movie, I felt that I would’ve done it. It reminded me of my old movies.”
“Romance is back. I’m so glad that love stories are back again in Telugu cinema and audience are making it grand success. Hanu’s detailing is exceptional. Although movie started on slow note, the interval part is superb. There’s no looking back in the second half. The songs were picturized aesthetically. Mrunal, I just fell in love with you. Hanu hatched out the character like that. Duqluer is an evergreen charmer. Keep that innocence and purity in you, that’s what your plus point.”
Dulquer said: “I never felt like I came from other industry. Swapna, you brought me Mahanati and then Sita Ramam. When you bring something to me, I know half my job is done. Dutt garu is funniest, kindest and warmest person. Hanu sir, I’m so indebted to you for offering me this film. You’re such an artist for the way you write, the way you think, the way you express. Ram, I think for me, is probably the greatest characters I’ve got to play. It’s one of the best opportunities an actor of my experience can get. It’s broken all language barrier. The receptions it’s getting amazed me.
I think Sita Mahalakshmi is bring majority of the audience. Everybody’s fallen in love with her. Her intro is no less than any superstar’s intro. Rashmika, what a bold choice. I love when actors go out of their comfort zone. Sumanth is like my brother now for life. I feel like Nagarjuna sir is younger than me and Ram. I’m his big fan. He’s a style icon. He’s such a superstar.”
