A movie that doesn’t do well at the box office gives a lot of repercussions to all the people involved in it. The recent trend has it that when the result is disastrous, the distributors are asking to compensate for their losses due to the film. Similar reports emerged about Laal Singh Chaddha saying that the distributors are asking Aamir Khan about compensation.
Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha failed to make good numbers at the box office. In four days of run, the movie collected just around 38 cr rupees. Responding to the rumors of ‘compensating distributors’, Viacom 18 Chief Ajit Andhare said, ‘There are no external distributors, it is being distributed by V18 Studios and no money is lost in the first place. The movie of still running in theaters both in India and internationally. This is baseless speculation.’
The report also stated that Aamir has not charged any fee for ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and he will take care of losses if any. It is heard that Aamir Khan is in a state of shock with the result of Laal Singh Chaddha.
Laal Singh Chaddha is an official remake of the Hollywood movie ‘Forrest Gump’ and it is directed by Advait Chandan.
