Post the pandemic, we are witnessing unavailable clashes between multiple films every week. Next Friday, one of India’s expensive motion pictures, Brahmastra is gearing up for release. Sharwanand’s long-delayed project Oke Oka Jeevitham is also hitting the screens on the same day. It has to be seen how it can tackle the craze of Brahmastra.
These clashes are continuing later Friday as well. On September 16, Sudheer Babu’s Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali, Kiran Abbavaram’s Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsinavadini and Regina-Nivetha Thomas’ Saakini Daakini are getting released.
All three films belong to different genres and cater to different audiences. Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali is a rom-com and Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsinavaadini is a mass commercial entertainer. On the other side, Saakini Daakini is an action comedy thriller.
However, all these films feature mid-tier actors and thus, we are unsure about openings. On top of that, National Cinema Day will be celebrated on September 16. Around 4000 theatres across the country will be offering movie tickets for just Rs. 75 on this day.
This offer may lure the audience to get into theatres in good numbers but also it can dent the opening day collections of these movies. Anyway, we have to see if National Cinema Day creates a positive or a negative impact on these movies.
