On the eve of Superstar Prabhas’ birthday, today various Bollywood houses have come up with several praising articles on the Baahubali star. And most of them have started writing that those films that Prabhas left to take up have made the likes of Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and Jr NTR the superstars they are today. Well, that’s a debatable topic.
How Prabahs rose to stardom is a different topic altogether and similarly the likes of Mahesh, Tarak and Bunny became stars in their own right. Of course, Okkadu was offered to Prabhas first but then the likes of Varsham were first offered to Mahesh Babu as well. Similarly, we have Rajamouli narrating Simhadri to Prabhas first, but then, Koratala Siva’s first choice for Mirchi is Jr NTR only. The same is the case with Allu Arjun’s Arya which was first narrated to Prabhas and the actor rejected it, but Mirchi was narrated to Bunny as well before it landed in Prabhas’ lap.
So there is nothing like, the films that Prabhas have left has made the other heroes as superstars, but those superstars have also rejected the film that Prabhas has done and become a big hero. Also, another fact is that Prabhas’ scaled heights after Mirchi, but by that time, already Mahesh and Jr NTR are superstars, while Allu Arjun is enjoying pan-India following in North through YouTube and in Kerala too.
There is no going back from the fact that Prabhas is currently India’s biggest star, thanks to Baahubali, but that doesn’t mean anything about other heroes.
