Prabhas Biz Shocks Trade!

Even after delivering a unanimous disaster like Radhe Shyam, the business of Prabhas next were least impacted. This is really shocking trade analysts and film business experts. In fact, the next films of Prabhas are all set to do more business than his failure Radhe Shyam.

Prabhas Project K is doing solid business and producers are quoting exorbitant prices for its theatrical rights in Nizam, Andhra and Ceded. Notwithstanding Radhe Shyam and Saaho results, the distributors are digging deep into pockets to buy the rights of Project K which is a science fiction film being directed by Nag Ashwin with ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachcnan.

According to trade reports, Project K’s theatrical rights for Nizam are kept on sale for a bomb. Sunil Narang & Co are reportedly buying the Project K’s Nizam theatrical rights for a whopping Rs 70 Crore. It is buzzed that producers are demanding Rs 80 Crore from Nizam. The talks are going on between both the parties. Most likely, Sunil Narang is going to grab the Nizam rights of Project K.

Meanwhile, it is estimated that the Andhra and Ceded theatrical rights of Project K is estimated at Rs 100 Crore. With this, the Telugu states together would contribute a whopping Rs 170 Crore to Rs 180 Crore theatrical business for Project K. With this Project K is being sold on par with the rates of RRR and Baahubali in many centres. Considering that Project K is released in 2024, the trade is expecting that these numbers are justified.

It is set in the backdrop of an imaginary third world war. The film will boast high-octane action sequences. Project K is being made with a whopping Rs 400 Crore budget.The film is going to do spectacular business in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam besides Hindi. In Hindi alone, the makers of Project K are expecting huge trade offers. The satellite and digital deals are going to be additional. Overall, Project K has got a terrific pre-release demand. The trade is betting big on this high-budgeted pan India film.

Director Nag Ashwin’s Mahanati being a critically acclaimed and commercially successful film has helped Project K big time. Meanwhile, expectations on Salaar and Adipurush are also high which will be released in 2023. Whereas, Project K will have extensive CG work and will be released in 2024.
