Telugu Flag? Adnan Sami Slams CM Jagan

The Naatu Naatu song from the RRR movie was adjudged as the Best Original Song (composed by MM Keeravani) at the 80th Golden Globe Awards. The entire nation started celebrating this historic victory. From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to AP CM YS Jagan and from Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to who’s who of the film and political fraternity have heaped praises on the team RRR. However, here is the controversy that just hit the Naatu Naatu.

AP CM YS Jagan in his congratulatory tweet, wrote, “The #Telugu flag is flying high! On behalf of all of #AndhraPradesh, I congratulate @mmkeeravaani, @ssrajamouli, @tarak9999, @AlwaysRamCharan and the entire team of @RRRMovie. We are incredibly proud of you! #GoldenGlobes2023,” he tweeted.

This doesn’t go well with Adnan Sami. Quoting CM Jagan’s tweet, Sami found fault with the use of “Telugu flag” and he stressed, “INDIAN flag right?”

“Telugu flag? You mean INDIAN flag right? We are Indians first & so kindly stop separating yourself from the rest of the country…Especially internationally, we are one country! This ‘separatist’ attitude is highly unhealthy as we saw in 1947!!! Thank you…Jai HIND!” Adnan responded to CM Jagan’s tweet.

But several Telugu people online have lamented at Adnan Sami and asked him to stop politicising everything. They advised him not to read in between the lines.
