Rajamouli: RRR Is A Telugu film And Not A Bollywood Film

SS Rajamouli is one of the finest filmmakers in Indian cinema. His last directorial, RRR, is making big noise in Hollywood. With the film earning a Golden Globe, there is enough attention on the director and his film.

Meanwhile, some people in Hollywood think that RRR is a Bollywood film as there is a misconception that any film that comes from India is a film from Bollywood. However, Rajamouli trashed this misconception in style.

Speaking at an event recently, Rajamouli said, “This is not a Bollywood movie. This is a Telugu film from the South of India, from where I come from.”

Rajamouli proudly announced that RRR is a Telugu film, not a Bollywood film, which caught everyone’s attention now. The video is going viral on social media.

RRR was released on March 25th last year and made an astonishing amount of revenue of over 1000 Cr rupees at the box office. The film has a fair chance of winning at least one Oscar award. If that happens, undoubtedly, the Telugu flag will fly high globally!
