Distributors’ Enthusiasm Giving A Headache To NTR Fans

The re-release trend has become a frenzy more than the fans reminiscing the vintage memories. The pressure from fans and the distributors’ enthusiasm to earn is bringing the yesteryear movies to theaters, but not many of them are breaking even.

Except for a few films like Pokiri, Jalsa, Chennakesava Reddy, Khushi, and Orange, other films could not emerge successful commercially. The distributors’ aim to target the emotion of fans for collections is raising more controversial discussions everywhere. A recent example of a colossal failure is NTR’s Andhrawala which managed to see an audience in one or two theaters only.

In the case of Andhrawala, it is heard that the fans of NTR pleaded with the distributor to not release the movie but requested them to release a movie like Student No 1. They have a valid point that they will be the target of anti-fans when a movie like Andhrawala comes to theaters again. The buyer was hesitant to oblige to the fans’ request.

Meanwhile, a piece of relieving news came out for fans that NTR’s Simhadri is releasing on the occasion of NTR’s birthday and the Young Tiger fans started rejoicing about the same. Not leaving them long with happiness, another report came out that NTR’s Aadi is also heading to theaters on May 20. Both films are worth re-watching in theaters, but fans are upset and helpless with this clash between two of their favorite films

NTR fans are complaining about the need to release two blockbuster movies of NTR at the same time. They are saying that only one film should be released to make it a special occasion and it is sending more confusion among the fans due to distributors’ greed. Fans will be split between these two movies resulting in a big miss in the much-wanted ‘records’. It has to be seen if the distributors really respect the fans’ emotions than to see the re-releases just as a big means to earn some bucks.
