Andhra Pradesh politics have taken an interesting turn after Jagan Mohan Reddy and Sharmila have gotten involved in a verbal war. After Jagan said Sharmila wore a yellow saree and went to Chandrababu’s house to kneel before him, Sharmila didn’t back down one bit and she gave it back to Jagan.
Sharmila didn’t just hit back at Jagan’s “Pasupu Cheera” comment but she also spoke about how Jagan got YSR’s name involved in the CBI chargesheet.
‘It wasn’t the Congress or the CBI that included YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s name in the CBI chargesheet, but instead, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s lawyer. Jagan’s lawyer Sudhakar Reddy wanted to add YSR’s name in the chargesheet so it would make it easier for Jagan to get bail. Jagan used the late YSR’s name to get himself out of the rouble. Jagan later made Sudhakar Reddy the Additional Advocate General of Andhra Pradesh.’ Sharmila said.
She didn’t make this statement randomly as she mentioned that Jagan’s lawyer approached the Supreme Court and CBI court to add YSR’s name so this statement could be cross-checked, which means Sharmila isn’t bluffing while making this serious allegation.
Over the last few years, YSR Congress’s top leadership has been repeatedly targeting Congress by saying this party did the heinous act of naming YSR in the CBI chargesheet. But Sharmila threw a huge bomb at this narrative built by YSR Congress by saying Jagan’s lawyer himself gave the idea of naming YSR in the case.
