New Controversy On Adipurush Poster

One of the most awaited films is none other than Superstar Prabhas’ Adipurush which will be hitting cinemas in the coming June. The makers of the movie have started promoting this adaption of Ramayana from the recent Rama Navami, and ever since they are posed with various controversies too.

To kick start the promotions, the makers have released a poster of the movie, where Prabhas, Kriti Sanon feature as Lord Rama and Sita, with Lakshman and Hanuman added to it. This iconic revisitation of the popular pose of the four was actually expected to create more hype for the film.

But some extreme right-wingers pointed out that the makers haven’t followed anything in the Ramacharitha Manas and accused Lord Rama and Lakshmana characters are not wearing the sacred thread (Jandhyam), and that’s a crime to feature Prabhas like that. They have even lodged cases on the makers.

Well, it looks like Adipurush is not only suffering from criticism of its poor graphics and bad portrayal of characters like the Islamisation of Lord Ravana, they are now going to face many controversies going ahead. One wonders if this new controversy helps the film in any way to get the much-needed attention, while Prabhas is yet to start the promotional campaign for the movie.
