Amala Slams Trolls for Attacking Her Son

Akhil Akkineni’s new movie ‘Agent’ was released to mostly negative reviews on Friday. Amala Akkineni responded by taking to her Instagram and addressing the box-office opening and trolls associated with her son’s latest release.

Amala found that the movie, despite its shortcomings, was very enjoyable and enriching. In her words posted: “Creativity is especially expressed in the ability to make connections, to make associations, to turn things around and express them in a new way”. The movie should be watched with an open mind as it can be very rewarding in such a situation.

“I understand that trolling comes from deeper insecurity and need for achievement. I watched Agent yesterday and honestly enjoyed the film. While it has its flaws, if you watch it with an open mind, you will be amazed (sic),” she wrote.

She further stated that the film was popular among women. “The hall I watched it at was packed, half of the audience were ladies, mothers and grandmothers along with their husbands and sons!” she continued, “There were screams when the action happened (sic).”She also promised fans that Akhil will come up with a bigger and better film shortly. “And I am sure the next one will be bigger and better,” she concluded.

As a parent, Superstar Nagarjuna and his wife share the experience of hoping their child’s movie will be successful. Unfortunately, despite their recent visit to Tirupati, their son’s film was not a success. They now put all of their hopes in the upcoming release of their elder son’s movie, Custody. They are optimistic that this new film will bring them joy and satisfaction.
