The youthful musical entertainer Mem Famous is all set for its release on May 26th. Besides regular promotions, the makers opted for inimitable promotional campaigns and several celebrities took part in them.
Now, they have come up with a clever strategy. While high-budget movies are releasing with hikes in ticket prices in the first week, normal ticket rates are fixed for small to medium-range movies. However, Mem Famous will have a discount on ticket prices in some chosen theatres on it opening days.
The makers fixed Rs 99 for these theatres and it will help the movie to have bigger occupancy on the first day. It’s important for small-time movies to bring the audience to theatres. This strategy will have a positive impact for sure.
Sumanth Prabhas who is making his directorial debut also played the lead role. Chai Bisket Films and Lahari Films spent a good budget on the movie and are trying everything to increase the prospects, ahead of the release.
