Trailer Talk: Pawan Super BRO, BGM On Fire!

The trailer of Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej’s Bro has been released. The film directed by Samuthirakani is the remake of Vinodhaya Sitham. The trailer stays true to the original. It is all about one Markandeyulu aka Mark (Sai Dharam Tej) who is worried about “Time”. Pawan Kalyan plays the role of Time. This sets an interesting premise for Bro: The Avatar.

Plot:

Markandeyulu (Sai Tej) suffers a serious accident and dies. Time (Pawan Kalyan) tells he is dead as his “Time” on the earth is over. Mark begs Time for his life to set right his family and company. Time agrees for this and gives him just 3 months of time on condition of secrecy and on the condition that he is always with him. Thus, Mark survives the accident and returns home, with limited Time. The film is all about what are the obstacles that come Mark’s way and how he fights the odds racing against the time.

Trailer Analysis

The trailer reveals the film’s plot, albeit indirectly. Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej headline the Bro. The film stresses two important factors for every human-being – One is Life, the Second is Time. How Life and Time are entangled and how one’s life is against time. Director Samuthirakani chose an entertaining treatment to narrate a serious and emotional story. The under-current emotions are intact. While the trailer indicates that the entertainment works occasionally, it is the core-emotion that may act as strength for the Bro. The lead actors Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej and their camaraderie, on-screen bonding and their fan base are certainly a huge advantage.

Thaman, who disappointed with the film’s songs, seems to have compensated with the  better background-score. The visuals are grand and production-values are rich. The film’s screenplay and dialogues are penned by Trivikram Srinivas. Hence one-liners have his mark. Overall, Bro trailer promises an entertaining and emotional journey of Mark. It is all about Mark’s life against time. The film hits the screens on July 28, 2023.
