“Send your children to films,” Chiru appeals to parents

The anticipation for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film “Bholaa Shankar” is reaching a fever pitch as the release date approaches. The film, directed by Meher Ramesh, is an official remake of the Tamil blockbuster “Vedhalam.” At the recent pre-release event, Chiranjeevi took the stage and showered his fans with gratitude for their unwavering support.

As he began his speech, Chiranjeevi expressed that the love and adoration he receives from his fans reminds him of a mother’s affection. He acknowledged that his fans hold a special place in his heart and emphasized that they are his priority over anything else, even the film industry.

Chiranjeevi opened up about his attitude and how he has grown to be more mindful of his words and actions, considering he inspires many. He shared that his composure and demeanor have been shaped by the immense love and respect he receives from his fans.

Addressing the presence of teenage boys and girls at the event, Chiranjeevi expressed his happiness and felt privileged to receive love from the younger generation. He acknowledged their support and affection, further motivating him in his journey as an actor.

In response to the criticism surrounding remakes, Chiranjeevi defended his decision to take up the remake of “Vedhalam” as “Bholaa Shankar.” He reasoned that remaking a good story from another language allows for a wider audience to enjoy it in their native language. He mentioned that he agreed to the remake after learning that “Vedhalam” is not available on any platform, ensuring a fresh experience for the Telugu audience.

Chiranjeevi also praised Meher Ramesh for his hard work and dedication as a director. He appreciated Ramesh’s independent approach and the fact that he proved himself without relying on any familial support. He stressed that the film industry welcomes talent from all backgrounds and encouraged aspiring filmmakers to follow their dreams.

The Megastar humorously teased the on-screen chemistry of brother-sister bonding with Keerthy Suresh in “Bholaa Shankar.” He playfully shared that he intentionally limited the sibling dynamic with Keerthy in this film, as he hopes to work with her as a romantic lead in one of his future projects.

Speaking about the film’s content, Chiranjeevi hinted that fans can expect references to his brother, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, in scenes featuring Sreemukhi. He praised Keerthy Suresh’s talent, recalling his prediction of a National Award for her after watching “Mahanati.”

The pre-release event was filled with Chiranjeevi’s heartfelt appreciation for the cast and crew, and he extended special thanks to everyone involved in the making of “Bholaa Shankar.”
