The makers of Prabhas’ upcoming tentpole film ‘Salaar’ have been teasing moviegoers with countdown posters for the last one year. Not many updates barring the launch of the teaser have emanated from the official sources of the team ever since the shooting formalities were wrapped up.
The explosive teaser that presented Prabhas in a high-voltage avatar received only a lukewarm response and set up decent expectations on this Prashanth Neel directional. However, there is no update so far about the launch of the theatrical trailer or the first single. This lethargic approach from the team has been hurting Prabhas fans to the core because they are anticipating some update from the production house as the release date is fast approaching. Even trade circles are waiting for the trailer launch event.
As another 50 days are left for the film’s massive release worldwide, the official Twitter handle of Salaar posted a GIF from one of the best shots in the teaser with the tag ‘Dino Salaar Roar in 50 days’. Fans of Prabhas are disappointed because the production house is taking a tad too longer to announce the publicity campaign.
A pan-India film like Salaar will require a minimum of one month for aggressive promotions. So, the makers should immediately come up with a firm update that clarifies the publicity campaign of Salaar.
Salaar is slated for release on September 28th. Hombale Films banner is bankrolling the film on a grand scale.
