Following Allu Arjun National Award win, Mahesh Old Tweet Goes Viral

Following Allu Arjun’s National Award win for “Best Actor” in “Pushpa: The Rise,” an old tweet from 2019 by Superstar Mahesh Babu has resurfaced and is making waves. In the tweet, Mahesh explained his decision to step away from a project with director Sukumar due to creative differences. Some in the industry are now suggesting that Mahesh missed out on a National Award due to this choice. But does this argument hold water?

Back then, Mahesh was initially set to collaborate with Sukumar, who had waited for nearly two years after their successful venture “Rangasthalam.” However, Sukumar eventually moved forward with “Pushpa” starring Allu Arjun. When the muhurat event for “Pushpa” happened, Mahesh tweeted about their shelved project. This tweet has now prompted speculation that Mahesh might have missed a chance at an award-winning film.

However, it’s essential to consider the bigger picture. The story Sukumar pitched to Mahesh was not “Pushpa: The Rise” but an entirely different project. Therefore, even if Mahesh and Sukumar had teamed up, it wouldn’t have been for “Pushpa.”

In Tollywood, there are numerous instances where stars have passed on projects that later became massive blockbusters and award winners. But this doesn’t mean those actors committed a grave mistake. Conversely, there have been cases where films rejected by these stars turned out to be unsuccessful.

In conclusion, linking Mahesh Babu’s decision to step away from a particular project to Allu Arjun’s National Award win doesn’t seem logically sound. Film industry dynamics are complex, and success or awards are not solely determined by individual decisions.
